It’s all about the details in this highly technical artwork. Chunks of blue and white glass are stretched into thin sticks only to be bundled and stretched again. The results of this process, know as “pulling cane,” are hundreds of threadlike strands of glass which are then layered and crisscrossed to look like fabric suspended within the clear glass walls of this vessel.
